Help Our School. Help Our Environment

Every year people throw away electronic devices which contain environmental toxins.  All of these items are considered hazardous waste and contaminate the environment. The Environmental Club of Middle Creek High can collect and recycle used, old, and broken Cell phones (Battery Included), Ink Printers, Printers Cartridges, Laptops, MP3 Players, Digital Cameras, GPS Systems, etc..  To recycle, see any member of the Environmental Club, Coach Fisher, Mrs. Lido (8411), or Mrs. Ozoma (2204) to turn in items for environmentally friendly recycling.

Our Biology Class Needs This

Do you know what this is?

Well Mr. G., our honors Biology teacher knows and he needs one to make his lessons come to life.

From Mr. G: “Hands-on experience makes science come alive! Remember dissecting a frog in your science class? With on-going budget cuts and the increasing cost of materials, I am unable to have students perform as many experiments as I would like. A document camera would display experiments on a large screen.

As a teacher, I know that hands-on experiences improve learning, and I want to perform as many experiments as possible in my class. Participating in experiments and labs energizes my students. Describing their answers – and their approach to questions – improves their confidence and deepens their learning. These kids are highly motivated and deserve to be challenged to reach their highest potential.”

Mr G. has posted a project on donorschoose.org requesting donations in order to purchase this document camera. Help out by donating what you can at http://donorschoose.org.
