Scholarship Opportunity from MCHS PTSA

The PTSA is pleased to announce that we will be offering two $1000 scholarships to two 2018 qualified applicants.  We are offering an academic scholarship (GPA 3.25 weighted required) and a hardship scholarship (no min GPA required). Time to Update Bus Service Needs 2018-19

The Transportation Department of the Wake County Public School System has begun to get ready for the 2018-19 school year. The Transportation Department is contacting current bus riders by phone and email asking them to go online to make Transportation aware of their changing needs.   Families with children that are transportation eligible and are riding the same bus to the same school next year don’t need to take any action.   Families that need to update their student’s bus service needs for the 2018-19 school year, Continue reading →

Seniors 2018 Baccalaureate Service Information

MCHS 2018 Baccalaureate Service, is Saturday, June 2nd, at 11 am at Edenton Street Methodist Church.  Sanctuary doors will open at 10:30 am for guests.  Families have long appreciated the beautiful and inspirational service that parent volunteers and senior students strive to create each year.   As this is not a school sponsored event, family donations are used to cover all Baccalaureate expenses including the church, reception, and speaker. Schools Closed this Wednesday, May 16

Many of you are aware that thousands of educators from throughout North Carolina are scheduled to gather in Raleigh on Wednesday, May 16. They are attending a rally at the General Assembly to improve teacher working conditions and classroom opportunities for our children. At this time, about 2,500 Wake County teachers have requested time away from the classroom to participate in this rally. More requests are expected in the coming days. StreetSafe Lifesaving Driving Experience this Saturday@MCHS

  Motor Vehicle Crashes kill more teens than the next four leading causes combined.  Middle Creek is offering a wonderful opportunity to all parents of young drivers to help keep their teen driver safe. The StreetSafe Lifesaving Driving Experience will be pulling into Middle Creek on May 19th to bring its unique hands-on driving program to our school.  All students with a Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License are invited to participate in this 4½ hour behind-the-wheel experience taught by First Responders.
