Admission Information to Governor’s School Summer Program

The Governor’s School of North Carolina is the oldest statewide summer residential program for some of North Carolina’s most academically gifted and talented high school students. The six week program is open to juniors, with exceptions made for sophomores applying in the performing/visual arts areas. To be eligible, applicants must present aptitude or achievement scores at or above 92 percent, and must commit to attend the entire six weeks. Scholarships are available.   Wake County College Fair When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2:00-4:30 p.m Where: NC State University-McKimmon Center Over 100 colleges will attend to discuss college admission with our high school juniors and seniors. MCHS PTSA is proud to introduce our new President: Lana Daniels. Thank you, Lana for volunteering to serve. Teacher Luncheon – A Great Way to Appreciate Our Teachers!

    Luncheons are a great way to express thanks to teachers. The PTSA recognizes that teachers work hard and deserve an afternoon spent enjoying a nice, thoughtful meal.
