If you’d like to read or perform, then please give your writing to Mr. Matteau in room 310 by Monday, April 3.
The Art Department and many, many students, have been working with artist Carter Hubbard to design large art projects that will be displayed in Middle Creek High’s foyer. Now the students need your help. Yes. You the parents. You the community. By filling out two simple surveys, you will fuel the energy needed to make these project come alive. It’s your chance to be part of MCHS history.
The students created a three and a half minute video to introduce the art projects and why your responses are so important. The video can be seen by tapping the image above or by going here at YouTube.

Data on the Fly! is an exciting one-day STEM immersion program at RDU airport for high school students on Friday, April 21, 2017. The event is produced by SAS Institute in collaboration with the NC Department of Transportation and the North Carolina Science Festival. Selected students will have the opportunity to tour the air traffic control tower, build a flight data collection device, test their device using real-time data from incoming and outgoing aircraft, and analyze their data alongside SAS professionals.
We would like students from your high school to be represented!
There is no fee from the program but students will need to apply. They will also need permission to be out of school on that day and will have to arrange for transportation to the DOT hangar at RDU. Directions will be provided once the 25 students are selected.
