To Senior Families:

Seniors who did not pick up their graduation orders on April 12th can go directly to the Herff Jones office (in Raleigh) for pick up (126 Mine Lake Court Suite 100, Raleigh, NC) click for map.

Also, Herff Jones will return to campus for a final distribution on May 8th (lunch periods only).  If Seniors have questions they should call Herff Jones at 919-890-5288.

Well Mr. G., our honors Biology teacher knows and he needs one to make his lessons come to life.

From Mr. G: “Hands-on experience makes science come alive! Remember dissecting a frog in your science class? With on-going budget cuts and the increasing cost of materials, I am unable to have students perform as many experiments as I would like. A document camera would display experiments on a large screen.

As a teacher, I know that hands-on experiences improve learning, and I want to perform as many experiments as possible in my class. Participating in experiments and labs energizes my students. Describing their answers – and their approach to questions – improves their confidence and deepens their learning. These kids are highly motivated and deserve to be challenged to reach their highest potential.”
