Last Week to Donate Gift Cards! Middle Creek is committed to improving the reading levels of their students. One of the targeted interventions we are using to do this is a program called Achieve 3000. This computer based program provides students the opportunities to read non-fiction Associated Press articles at the individual student’s reading/lexile level with activities provided to measure comprehension. The Media Center is always in need of near-current, gently used magazines and periodicals. All subjects are welcomed; like pop culture, sports, cars/motorcycles, home/garden/cooking, parenting, science, current events and more! Teenager Sized Coats Needed! Do you have any coats that you are willing to donate to keep someone warm this Winter? Then donate your coat for WRAL’s Coats for the Children at Middle Creek High School anytime between now and Christmas. A large drop off box can be found in the front lobby of the school. Mr. Gilliam, one of our art teachers is in need of a volunteer who has knowledge of brick or stone masonry and/or landscape design. He has been collecting Art Bricks from his students for quite a few years and now he needs help designing a walkway at Middle Creek High using those bricks.
