Attention all juniors and junior parents! Middle Creek is issuing it’s annual mandatory ACT for all juniors on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018, this Tuesday! This ACT is completely FREE, as the school is picking up testing costs and allowing students to send their scores to up to 4 colleges of their choice for FREE! This test is a great opportunity to send colleges a message that your student is ready and interested by sending strong scores their way. We hope that your junior studies hard for this test, and kicks butt this Tuesday.
IMPORTANT! All students testing MUST bring their school photo ID on the day of testing to be admitted into the testing room! If they don’t bring their school ID, they will not be allowed to test!
What Inspires me?
THIS YEAR’S CONTEST IS NOW OPEN
Does art inspire you? Clouds that look like faces? Sugar? Discovering new galaxies? Artists have looked to the world around them for centuries to gain inspiration. This year’s 10th anniversary of Doodle 4 Google asks students to do the same.
The winner’s artwork will be made into an interactive doodle on Google.com as well as loads of scholarships and prizes.

The ACT®, one of the leading US college admissions test, is coming to Middle Creek on Feb. 28th, for ALL 11th graders and FREE of Charge. A question I get a lot is: “which test should I take, the SAT or the ACT”? My answer to that, being the cheapskate that I am is: you’re getting the ACT for free and during school hours, so make the most of it and do your best. Here’s a great resource to help you prepare:
But what if you need to retake the test? Should it be the ACT or the SAT? That depends on the type of test taker you are and the types of knowledge that interest you most. To better understand each test I found the following article to help explain the differences between the ACT and SAT:
And Veritas Prep has a fun, easy, 15 question quiz to help you decide:
Whichever test you decide to take, good luck in your college prep journey.
