On Thursday, November 21 your PTSA will host the first Honor Roll Breakfast of the year. This event celebrates the academic achievements of our hardworking students. It takes determination and dedication to earn a place on the Honor Roll and the PTSA wants to give these students the recognition they deserve. This quarter we are proud to announce that 1195 students have earned the distinction of Honor Roll Student. Way to go, Mustangs!
The Student Services Department is already receiving requests for Help for the Holidays. We ask that you help us help those less fortunate members of our family. We will be collecting gift cards (local grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Target, etc) to distribute to families. We will be collecting cards until December 6th. No money, please. Only gift cards. All amounts are welcome.
The goal of North Carolina College Application Week is to provide every graduating high school senior the opportunity to apply to college online through CFNC.org. During this statewide college access event, all 110 North Carolina colleges and universities accept the College Board fee waiver in lieu of an application fee, for students who qualify. Additionally, many of North Carolina’s colleges and universities go above and beyond and outright waive their application fee for all North Carolina graduating seniors that week.
